I dont think he has anything corrected, he just made clear what he had 
allready said. Read that speech, it is at vatican.com, with a rather 
ugly background gif.

Maybe I am a little bit picky here, but the "dialogue of cultures" (or 
however you like to call it) must be based on precision and not on foggy 
fairytales. People should listen to each other and not reproduce their 
prejudices whenever they seem to fit.
