*Projekträume schaffen ein Gefühl der Zugehörigkeit. Sie bilden Orte des
Gemeinschaftlichen, deren Grundrisse sich ständig durch Anerkennung und
Wissen verändern. Die Notwendigkeit, über eine faire Verteilung von
Ressourcen in der Gesellschaft und über Fördergerechtigkeit zu diskutieren,
macht es erforderlich, kulturelle Räume nicht nur als unabhängige Einheiten
zu betrachten, sondern über deren Gegenseitigkeit zu sprechen. Als wäre die
einzige legitime Institution eine Gemeinschaft von Räumen.*

Alle Projekträume und Initiativen in Berlin sind aufgerufen, sich für die
siebte Ausgabe des Project Space Festivals zu bewerben.

Das Project Space Festival lädt vom 01.-30. Juni 2023 dazu ein, 30
Veranstaltungen der freien Projektraum-Szene in Berlin zu besuchen. Mit
einem einmonatigen Programm ermöglicht das Festival einen umfassenden
Einblick in künstlerische, gemeinschaftlich organisierte Projekträume. Das
Project Space Festival ist eine seit 2014 bestehende, gemeinsame Grassroots
Veranstaltung der freien Berliner Projektraum-Szene.
*Teilnahmebedingungen:*
Jeder der ausgewählten 29 Projekträume bzw Initiativen hat maximal 24
Stunden Zeit, um eine Veranstaltung
(Ausstellung/Performance/Lesung/Screening usw.) entweder in seinem eigenen
Raum, im öffentlichen Raum oder in einem anderen selbst gewählten Raum zu
präsentieren. Es ist möglich, eine Ausstellung einzureichen, die bereits
geplant und von längerer Dauer ist, jedoch muss in dem Fall die Eröffnung
innerhalb des Project Space Festivals stattfinden.

Wichtig: Für die Bewerbung können nur freie, nicht kommerzielle
künstlerische Projekträume und-Initiativen berücksichtigt werden. Darüber
hinaus müssen alle Veranstaltungen innerhalb des Project Space Festivals
kostenfrei zugänglich sein.

*Project spaces create a sense of belonging. They form places of
communality whose outlines are constantly changing through recognition and
knowledge. The need to discuss fair distribution of resources in society
and funding equity makes it necessary to consider cultural spaces not only
as independent entities, but to talk about their mutuality. As if the only
legitimate institution were a community of spaces.*

All project spaces and initiatives in Berlin are invited to apply for the
seventh edition of the Project Space Festival.

>From June 01-30, 2023, the Project Space Festival invites you to visit 30
events of the independent project space scene in Berlin. With a month-long
program, the festival provides a comprehensive insight into the city's
artistic, collaborative spaces.  The Project Space Festival is a
collaborative grassroots event of Berlin's independent project space scene
that has been running since 2014.
*Conditions of participation:*
Each of the selected 29 project spaces or initiatives will have a maximum
of 24 hours to present an event (exhibition/performance/reading/screening,
etc.) either in their own space, in the public space or in another space of
their choice. It is possible to submit an exhibition that is already
planned and of longer duration, but in that case the opening must take
place within the Project Space Festival.

Important: Only independent, non-commercial artistic project spaces and
initiatives can be considered for the application. In addition, all events
within the Project Space Festival must be open to the public free of charge.
