*Eine Kollaboration zwischen Kreuzberg Pavillon und ʃtaʦion*

Der *Kreuzberg Pavillon* thematisiert für das Project Space Festival Formen
der
Solidarität innerhalb der Berliner Projektraumszene und vereint sich
hierfür mit
dem temporären Projektraum* ʃtaʦion*.

*ʃtaʦion* ist eine ehemalige Kartenverkaufsstelle am Ostbahnhof, die seit
März
2015 für einen Zeitraum von 8 Monaten als ein kleiner, 4 m² großer,
Projektraum
genutzt wird. Das Programm verfolgt das Ziel Berlin spezifische Themen, wie
die städtische Transformation und den daraus folgenden Prozess des sozialen
Wandels, das ‘Schrumpfen’ von Freiräumen und die damit verbundenen
Konsequenzen, anzusprechen und künstlerisch zu untersuchen.

Das Gemeinschaftsprojekt *A monument for the unexpected (it’s not down in
any *
*map; true places never are)* lädt BesucherInnen dazu ein, den öffentlichen
Raum
zu überdenken und auf Formen der Verdrängung, denen man in Berlin begegnet,
zu reagieren.

*A collaboration between Kreuzberg Pavillon and ʃtaʦion*

For the Project Space Festival *Kreuzberg Pavillon* has decided to show its
solidarity with another Berlin project space called* ʃtaʦion*.

*ʃtaʦion* is a former ticket booth at Ostbahnhof, now used as a little 4
square
meter project space, that started in March 2015 and will run for 8 months.
Its
program aims to tackle Berlin-specific issues such as urban transformation
processes and consequently the process of social change, the ‘shrinking’ of
public spaces and the implications coming along with that.

The joint venture *A monument for the unexpected (it’s not down in any map;
*
*true places never are)* invites visitors to rethink public space and to
deal with
forms of displacement one may encounter in Berlin.
