[spectre] CONTEMPORARY 21 - NEW WORKS BY PAKEONG SEQUEIRA AND JOSÉ DRUMMOND AT SKY21

AFA (Art for All Society) has worked with the renowned entertainment
complex SKY21 in March this year and launched the exhibition

“AFA in the SKY”. Matching up with the exquisite interior design of the
venue, “AFA in the SKY” delicately selected artworks from seven

prominent Macao artists. Mixing with the moving music and first-rate Asian
gourmet, the venue is encompassed with a distinctive artistic

atmosphere. This autumn, AFA and SKY21 are organizing the second event
together: Contemporary 21 – New Works by Pakeong Sequeira and José Drummond
at SKY21.


Embraced by the chic atmosphere of the venue, Contemporary 21 is displaying
a number of illusionary pieces by the two artists.

José Drummond is capturing female figures by ambiguous shots, composing a
vague image of individuals as one met in dreams.

On the other hand, Pakeong is displaying his creation on a piece of glass
of 4 meter wide. Complementing with the inviting music

and unbound creativity of the artist, the work would surely surprise the
audience with incredible visual effect. A number of installations

will also be exhibited. The artist is drawing on traditional Chinese style
potteries, the extensive lines and curves provoke layers and

layers of imagination.
