dear spectrites,

heiko daxl was one of the most active artists, curators and organisers 
who helped build bridges between east and west europe, and between media 
and contemporary art. in 1980 he was among the founders of what would 
become the European Media Art Festival. among many other activities, 
together with ingeborg fülepp he organised exhibitions and festivals in 
croatia and germany, since 1991.

it is with great sadness that we hear of his untimely death.
