Performing Al Hansen's "Car Bibbe #2" (In the Spirit of Fluxus)
WORLD PREMIERE
Directed by Patrick Lichty

In a historic move, Second Front will perform an original score by the  
Fluxus artist, Al Hansen. Where Hansen's Car Bibbe #1 is the "Car  
Symphony" chronicled by Dick Higgins, Car Bibbe #2 has never been  
performed until this weekend!

This is due to the amount of explosives applied to the 60's Cadlillac  
Fleetwood in the text. Second Front is very pleased to present this  
unrealized work by the father of Second Front's own Bibbe Hansen for  
the first time in the online virtual world, Second Life.

Like many Fluxus scores or "happenings", the piece consists of a  
"score" of general actions from which the participants will interpret  
the unfolding of the event. Car Bibbe #2 will consist of three  
movements surrounding the detonation and destruction of a flame-red  
Cadillac Fleetwood.
