I. linda lou murphy un/gather
6pm 29 May - 7 June
Known for her eerie performances that include complex paper forms,  
linda lou murphy’s practice explores sensory responses to things and  
events. The interplay between skin/paper, artefact/body, and toxicity  
as a positive force, are some of the themes that inform murphy’s work.  
un/gather includes live performance, sound, moving image and sculpted  
objects. 

linda lou murphy is the creative facilitator and founder of performance  
group shimmeeshok, who have been producing work since 1998.

II. senVoodoo (AñA Wojak & Fiona McGregor) Arterial 
6pm 12 June - 21 June
Arterial is a performance about loss and mourning using the primal  
medium of blood. It draws on a range of traditions and histories  
including Butoh, Tadeusz Kantor’s Theatre of Death, and the iconography  
of the bleeding, wounded body as the locus of drama, emotion, sacrifice  
and redemption. Arterial will be performed live on the opening night  
and exhibited as video installation until 21 June.

Founded by AñA Wojak and Fiona McGregor, senVoodoo is a Sydney based  
collective who have performed across Australia and Europe since 1999.

III. Alison Currie 42a  
6pm 26 June - 5 July
42a is an interactive installation-based work that tests dance and  
performance art in the visual arts field. Director Alison Currie, along  
with Annemarie Kohn, Kel Mocilnik, Alisdair Macindoe and Adam Synnott  
explore concepts relating to house and home. An act of endurance, 42a  
will perform during the opening and throughout the exhibition period. 

Alison Currie & 42a have been assisted by the Australia Council for the  
Arts,  Arts SA and Ausdance SA
