your solidarity with citizens fighting for the public space in Vilnius
is needed.

We are writing to you with request to support the citizen movement that
defends the public cultural space and the biggest
non-commercial cinema in Vilnius from destruction.

At the moment 4 citizens are defending public space in the Vilnius
County Administrative Court appealing for the violation of the law in
the detailed planning process in the site of cinema Lietuva. This court
process is a follow-up of the protest actions initiated in spring 2005 as a
campaign for reclaiming public space.

Nationally Petition was signed by more then 8000 people:
Now we appeal for international solidarity and support.
