The writer Heiko Recktenwald writ:

• Why? ;-)

Yeah, especially considering there are several someones there who wouldn't
think twice about bombing the shit out of us (especially me, a U.S.
citizen)... the only reason why is to generate a familiarity on a personal
level. Perhaps not best done under the auspices of art, perhaps best done
simply over a cup of tea as you suggest ;)

•
• The Muslims or whoever can help themselves if they want so.

Really? Has there ever been a day that you wondered where you will be
getting clean drinking water?

•
• Maybe the British Council should lower its standards to a nice room and
• a good cup of tea.
•
• And just try to make friends.
•
• Less is more?

Yes, that's really it, let's all just have a cuppa and be friends. ;)
Peaceful resistance and all that.

So, I've got a bumper sticker on my American Sized SUV now that says
"Proud supporter of the Saudi Royal Family"

Cheers,
-Joe
