Hi,

The Paris-Taipeh-Kyoto Ping Pong Placard will take place this week end
in an appartment of Paris and in other locations in Taipeh and Kyoto.
The Placard consist of a serie of one-hour performances & live acts
being streamed (through Internet) and performed between Paris, Taipeh
and Kyoto.
There will also be some events and actions requiring or not requiring
physical displacement.

You can find the updated information on the page:
http://www.xlrmx.org/wiki/index.php/Placard/2006

You are warmly welcome to this event, which I hope you will enjoy. If
you cannot make it to Paris, Taipeh, Kyoto or Bruxelles, you may either
want to check out the other "Listening Placard" (see about page linked
below of the FAQ <http://leplacard.org/faq.html>) or create one
Listening Room yourself.

You can also join us on IRC through the placard website.

Thanks a lot to all the people who started the whole thing, helped
throughout, participated, shared the fun, played or are going to play,
maintained the positive energy and the creative spirit, forwarded or are
going to forward this invitation to whoever might be interested, they
know who they are.

See you there.
Philippe.

    Technology & Organization

      Streaming

Stream will be sent alternatively from Paris, Taipeh and Kyoto.

      Listening rooms

You can open a listening room whereever you are. Just sign up on the web
here <http://leplacard.org/manage/rooms/makerx/>. Thus, you'll offer the
possibility to people in your country/city to come and listen to the
stream at your place. (We'll then communicate the stream URL to you).
Then the best is to build a headphone splitter for your fellow placard
mates.

      Headphone splitter

Each person should come with his own headphones. He will be able to plug
into the headphone splitter and listen to the music. You can do a
headphone splitter yourself and connect it to the audio output of your
computer, it's easy. (see XLRMX website for details).

      FM Microbroadcasting

Alternatively, people can bring a FM listening device (portable FM
player) to listen to the locally broadcasted version.
