right... post modern, post post modern, irony, post irony, semiotics,
post semiotics,

"trans" ....transmission........cousin of firebird (trans am).....an
interesting experimental neil young album......

new media is an odd term linguistically as "new" has specific definition
yet is subjective.........some curators in the last few years have
dramatically declared it "dead" (mostly it seems to make a splash and get
some edgy cred...) yet again "dead" has a specific primary meaning and
yet can be quite subjective...( a "Dead" battery can be final or
temporary with a good jump.........a "Dead" language is no longer in use
but still in many cases is read by academics in study.....in literature
"dead" eyes.....has meant cold, distant, despondent, sociopathic,
unemotional or just blank...

it is the ancient cyclical problem........how do you codify linguistically
to describe, name..........without that coding being too broad, narrow, or
prone to induce backlash.....and time placed shelf life and formal
conventions as opposed to evolution......

tricky tricky.......

definitions to contrast them from the existing, the established, rather
than attempt to define them as they are still emerging

usually they hinder more than benefit, think about the enormous
problems the unwieldily term post-modern has created

rambling is good.
