Roof Garden Fugue
(www.fugueart.com)

March 7th - March 14th
18:00 - 20:00

You are cordially invited to a screening of our ongoing project Fugue. The
event coincides with the launch of the newly established University College
London Computer Science Department Research Interest Group for art and
science "TESLA" on March the14th. The event is part of NODE.London
http://nodel.org/

Fugue is a scientifically informed art project based on the functioning of
the human immune system. The artistic concept, inspired by the musical form
of fugue, is interactive, and operates within the framework of an artificial
immune system algorithm, expressed through vision and sound. In the final
version, a human participant will engage the system in a spontaneous
non-verbal dialogue, influencing both the unfolding of the immune system
drama and the nature of the participant's experience. Please come and have a
look at the real-time generated artificial entity made visible in UCL's Roof
Garden. Enter from the UCL main gate in Gower Street, walk to the South
Cloister, and then follow the signs.
