i've been following this discussion with a growing mixture of amazement 
and disgust - i thought the height of political correctness was long 
over, but obviously i was wrong.

nat's message from tuesday seemed, to me at least, like the perfect 
round-up of this discussion, but obviously that opinion is not shared.
