Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to invite you to the Euforic Annual General Meeting on the
2nd and 3rd of June at the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) in
London.

The first day of the AGM on June 2nd will be devoted to a seminar on:

INFORMATION STRATEGIES AND POLICY INFLUENCE
Identifying effective networking and communication strategies in a
European development context

The main focus will be on identifying information strategies and
methods with a view to gaining a greater understanding of what makes
networks effective in influencing development policy. This debate holds
particular significance for the future of European Development
Cooperation as we are on the threshold of the UK Presidency of the EU,
the G8 and MDG summits. The seminar will bring together the experiences
and expertise of the ODI and a variety of cases within the Euforic
network.

On June 3rd there will be an internal Annual General Meeting – in which
members will discuss and decide upon the future business strategy of
Euforic. You may express your interest to attend this meeting as an
observer.

I would really appreciate your participation in the Annual General
Meeting and thank you in advance for considering your contribution to
the overall objectives. We kindly request you share this invitation
with your colleagues and register with Yvette Petit (yp at euforic.org).
