[spectre] Irwin at the 50th Venice Biennial

The Irwin group will present a series of Irwin icons at the 
international exhibition "Dreams and Conflicts: The Viewer's 
Dictatorship" within the framework of the 50th Venice Biennial of 
Art. The installation consists of 20 works with five different motif 
constellations (cup of coffee, deer, sower, cross, and Malevich 
between two wars) made between 1984 and 2003. Five sound 
icons made in 2003 will be shown in Venice for the first time. 

Irwin's installation is part of the exhibition called "Sistemi Individuali 
/ Individual Systems" curated by Igor Zabel. The exhibition will take 
place in the Arsenale.

The Vernissage (preview period) of the 50th Venice Biennale will 
take place from June 12-14, 2003. The exhibition will be open from 
June 15 to November 2, 2003, every day except Mondays from 
10.00 to 18.00.
