Simultaneously with the release of the first public beta version of znc 
2.0, which is a further developed version of an earlier edition of 
this particular work, znc 1.01 is now available to the public. Its 
forerunner was presented at the Kiev Media Arts Festival 2002. znc 1.01 
differs fundamentally from the 2.0 version, because it was made with the 
intention to show the arbitrariness of code and it is therefore first of 
all a conceptual piece. It should be noted that the soundproduction of 
this update of the first znc version differs from the latest, 2.0 
version, completely. Play with both versions to hear and see the
difference in practise.
