Perhaps 'deep eu' is yet another 'spectre' rising of Germany and 
especially Berlin as geo-poli-cultural center of the (eu) world. 
With the adoption of the next eu states, geographic-centrism of 'deep 
eu' is inevitable!  Other centrisms will naturally follow...
