The New   Latin American Cinema Foundation and the Latin American
Institute of Studies   of the Moving Image of the General Foundation
of the University of Alcalá , with the collaboration of the
International Festival of New Latin American Cinema and Publishing
House 8   1/2, are proud to present the ANNUAL   ESSAY PRIZE ON
CINEMA IN LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN . The aim of the
competition is to promote the cultural spread of the cinema and
audiovisual   space of Latin America and the Caribbean , as well as
to stimulate research papers.
