On the 21st of June Arteleku, the modern art centre in Donostia -San=20
Sebasti=E1n, is reopening. Since it first opened 15 years ago, Arteleku has=
=20
taken great interest in changing and evolving. As a result, this new phase=
=20
is a way for the centre to adapting to new artistic forms of production.=20
The most significant change has occurred in the building that has been=20
reorganised, but the centre has also got a brand new visual identity in=20
keeping with the changes that have occurred over the last few years.

However, the aim of this celebration is not just to present the end of some=
=20
building work. Arteleku is starting up again with a tight programme packed=
=20
with interesting projects. On the 21st itself we will be giving the=20
starting signal for the memory project. This is a project for the reopening=
=20
of Arteleku: an ever-changing presentation of institutional material and=20
work by artists; recycling and popularising artwork in times of change;=20
visions of wiping out memory; in-situ interventions in the new building and=
=20
a special opportunity to open a new season and collectivise experiences.
