das ist die Ausgangsfrage der BG Jahreskonferenz 2016, die unter dem
Titel TACIT FUTURES vom 27.10. bis 29.10. in der Berliner Volksbühne
stattfinden wird, mit u.a. Konrad Becker, Brian Massumi und Gayatri
Chakravorty Spivak. Der Open Call für die Workshops beginnt jetzt,

TACIT FUTURES
Verborgene Zukünfte und demokratische Bewegungskontrolle | Workshops,
Talks, Performances + Cooking | Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg Platz |
Berlin | 27-29/10/16

Grenzen und Infrastrukturen verhindern oder ermöglichen Bewegungen von
Menschen und Gütern, Daten und Geld. Damit sind sie Orte, an denen
Weichen für die Zukunft des Miteinanders gestellt werden – Gleichheit
ermöglichend oder Ungeleichheit vergrößernd. Doch wer gestaltet
Bewegungskontrolle und damit die kommende Gesellschaft? Wie können
verborgene Zukünfte (sprich: tacit futures) zu einem demokratischen
Projekt werden? BG (Berliner Gazette und Volksbühne am Rosa Luxemburg
Platz laden AktivistInnen, CoderInnen, KünstlerInnen,
WissenschaftlerInnen und JournalistInnen ein, nach Antworten zu suchen.
Die internationale BG Jahreskonferenz, dieses Jahr unter dem Titel TACIT
FUTURES, initiiert Diskussionen und kollaborative Prozesse, um Visionen
für demokratische Bewegungskontrolle zu entwickeln.

WORKSHOPS fächern ein breites Themenspektrum auf: “Industrien der
Prädiktion und Spielräume der Freiheit” (“Industries of prediction and
margins of freedom “), “Politik der Grenzen und Geldbewegungen” (“The
politics of borders and money moves”), “Bewegungsspuren und
Menschenrechte” (“Traces of movement and the question of rights”),
“Drohnen-Krieg, Pflege-Kultur und Massenmobilität” (“Drone war, care
culture and mass mobility”) und “Co-Working, Plattform-Aktivismus und
Geflüchtete” (“Co-working, platform activism and refugees”).

PUBLIC TALKS mit Konrad Becker, Tamar Grosz, Jennifer Kamau, Brian
Massumi, Guillaume Paoli, Sazaebot, Anna Sauerbrey, Gayatri Chakravorty
Spivak, Marcus Staiger, Krystian Woznicki uvm.

TACIT FUTURES
Towards the Democratic Control of Movement | Workshops, Talks,

Borders and infrastructure enable or disable the movement of humans and
goods, data and money. Hence both are sites at which the future of human
togetherness is shaped – fostering equality or aggravating inequality.
So, who is actually taking decisions about the control of movement and
thus about the future of society? Can the futures that are hidden at
these sites – can these tacit futures become a democratic project? BG
(Berliner Gazette) and Volksbühne at Rosa Luxemburg Platz invite
activists, researchers, coders and journalists to search for answers.
The BG Annual Conference, this year entitled TACIT FUTURES, will
initiate discussions and collaborative processes tackling the democratic
control of movement.

PUBLIC TALKS with Konrad Becker, Jennifer Kamau, Brian Massumi,
Guillaume Paoli, Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak, Marcus Staiger, and many more.

WORKSHOPS with artists, researchers, activists and programmers from more
than twenty countries on issues such as: “Industries of prediction and
margins of freedom”, “The politics of borders and money moves”, “Traces
of movement and the question of rights”, “Care culture, drone war and
mass mobility” and “Co-working, platform activism and refugees”.
