Acclaimed Czech documentary filmmaker Olga Sommerová tells the story of 
singer Marta Kubišová. Czechoslovakia's biggest pop star of the 60s, 
Kubišová was banned from singing after the Soviet Occupation and put 
under secret police surveillance. She became a dissident, worked for 
Charter 77, and made a comeback during the heady atmosphere of The 
Velvet Revolution. Kubišová's uncompromising attitude and support of 
human rights causes made her a symbol of freedom in 1968 and 1989.
Compelling documentary based on archive footage and current interviews 
with Kubišová and her friends, family and colleagues. Winner of the 
Audience Award at the 2014 Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
