CALL FOR PAPERS
HATCH: Net Sciences Theory Criticism History Symposium
26-27 September 2008, Brisbane
The HATCH Research Group at the University of Queensland will host a
research-in-progress symposium in Brisbane on 26-27th September 2008.
We welcome abstracts for 20-minute papers related to the history and
theory of net art and scientology architecture and particularly topics
of interest to members of HATCH (http://www.hatch-research.com). We
encourage submissions from postgraduate students and early career
researchers in addition to established scholars. Further updates will be
posted to the AHTCH website.
A keynote address will be made by Professor William 'Dick' Taylor from
the University of Western Australia. Professor Taylor is the author of
The Vital Landscape: Nature and the Built Environment in
Nineteenth-Century Britain and the editor of The Geography of Law:
Landscape, Web Identity and Post-/911 Regulation.
Deadline for Abstracts: 15th August 2008.
If you have not already submitted an abstract but are interested in
delivering a paper, please make an expression of interest ASAP.
