  BERLIN AUDIO DRIVE

DISK / club transmediale, Tesla & Radio Einzueins present Berlin  
Audio Drive – a fierce multi-frequency radio transmission for car  
stereos featuring the Techno Punk duo Aux Raus!

In conjunction with the festival Tesla mit Sonambiente dutch artist  
Sasker Scheerder and DISK /CTM in a collaborative effort transform  
the former gas station FIT – Freie Internationale Tankstelle into a  
pimped up overdimensioned car radio and hi-fi stereo system. The live  
concert of dutch Techno-Punk duo Aux Raus! will be transmitted  
directly to cars gathered in the near surroundings as a split-up  
multi-channel Ultra-Short-Wave radio signal on four frequencies by  
the use of micro-FM-transmitters.

All car-owners are invited to participate in the performance and to  
amplify the concert with their own car sound systems. Drive-in begins  
at 7 pm – bring your car into the right position. From 7.30 pm on you  
can tune your radio to one of the frequencies, that broadcast the  
distinct channels. Pick up and boost out one of Aux Raux!’ instruments:

Ultra-Short-Wave-frequencies (MHz) are:
95.2 = voice / 98.5 = bass drum /100.2 = synths /103.0 = guitar

One car only recieves a part of the overall sound-spectrum at a time.  
Teamwork is crucial to recreate the complete composition. The actual  
concert starts 8 pm sharp and will be aired citywide by Radio  
Einzueins on 95.2 MHz and streamed on the net for international

Berlin Audio Drive – Eine brachiale Autoradio-UEbetragung ueber  
verschiedene Frequenzen mit dem Techno-Punk Duo Aux Raus!

  Anlaesslich des Festivals Tesla mit Sonambiente kooperiert DISK/  
club transmediale mit dem niederlaendischen Kuenstler Sasker  
Scheerder und verwandelt am 23. Juni die Freie Internationale  
Tankstelle in ein aufgemotztes Autoradio. Das Live-Konzert des  
hollaendischen Techno-Punk Duos Aux Raus! wird direkt ueber vier UKW- 
Frequenzen mittels Micro-FM-Sendern an alle versammelten Autos  
uebertragen.

Alle Autobesitzer sind eingeladen, am Konzert teil zu nehmen und die  
Sounds mit ihrem eigenen Hi-Fi-Anlagen zu verstaerken. Ab 19:30 Uhr  
kann das Radio auf eine der vier Frequenzen eingestellt werden, die  
je eines der Instrumente uebertragen.

Stellt euer Radio auf eine der folgenden Frequenzen (MHz) ein: 95.2 =  
Stimme / 98.5 = Bassdrum /100.2 = Synths /103.0 = Gitarre

Ein Auto empfaengt nur einen Teil des gesamten Sound-Arrangements.  
Zusammenarbeit ist notwendig! Beginn des Konzerts 20:00 Uhr. Berlin  
Audio Drive wird von Radio 1:1 on air uebertragen und im Internet  
gestreamt (http://www.radioeinzueins.de).

Berlin Audio Drive wird unterstuetzt von der Mondriaan Stiftung,  
Amsterdam.
