Radio_Copernicus in Wroclaw and Berlin on air
The German-Polish artist radio is transmitting until the end of the year 
in Berlin on 95,2 FM and in Wroclaw on 91,3 FM.

With a Grand Re:Opening Radio_Copernicus starts its fourth season in 
cooperation with the Unversiyt of Wroclaw.
 >From the 1st to the 31th December 2005 the artist radio broadcasts 24 
hours a day live from Wroclaw on the local frequency 91,3 FM and in
Berlin on the local frequency 95,2 FM as well as on the Internet via 
Live-Stream. In order to document the current radio and media-aesthetic 
trends,
Radio_Copernicus again commissioned radio art productions by artists 
like Thomas Auer, Mikolaj Trzaska and Andrzej Stasiuk, Heimo Lattner,
Filip Zawada, Radosław Łukasiewicz, Jak Piętka (Pustki). They will be 
premiered on air during December on the program slot "Explorations".

On the 31st of December Radio_Copernicus says goodbye with a fulminant 
Finale Grande connecting both broadcast studios in Wroclaw and

Workshops, Installations, Interventions, Internet Performances, Concerts 
and Symposium (6.12. - 11.12.2005)

Concluding the project Radio_Copernicus in cooperation with the 
Universiyt of Wroclaw is organizing a series of events, which will be held
mainly at the BWA Wroclaw Galeries for Contemporary Art / Galerie Sztuki 
Współczesnej, presenting installations, radio-Internet
performances, and concerts. These events will focus on the vastly 
different strategies, methods, artists' theories, and the boundaries they
cross while attempting to bridge the divide between art, its medium and 
the audience.
What unexpectedly explosive, sociopolitical perspectives this retrieves 
will be discussed together with the audience by referees like
Wojciech Bruszewski, Robert Piotrowicz and Anna Zaradny, Sabine 
Breitsameter, Johannes Wilms and Robert Gawlowski in the symposium "Talking
back to Radio - Radio als Zuhörer - Artyści zmieniają radio" (10./11.12.05).

The evening program at the BWA Wroclaw Galeries for Contemporary Art / 
Galerie Sztuki Współczesnej offers installations, internet
performances and concerts by Stefano Giannotti, Pawel Janicki, Hildegard 
Westerkamp, Lukasz Szalankiewicz, Johannes Auer, Tomasz
Gwincinski, Ignaz Schick and ElletroVoce amongst others.

To start the series of events, the Hamburg group LIGNA will perform 
their radio-intervention "The Future of Radio Art" in the Old Town of
Wroclaw on the 6th of December, 6.00 - 7.00 pm. „Talking Back to Radio – 
Radio als Zuhörer – Artyści zmieniają radio“ will party be
transmitted live, partly staggered on Radio_Copernicus.

Das deutsch-polnische Künstlerradio ist bis Jahresende auf UKW 95,2 MHz 
in Berlin und auf UkW 91,3 MHz in Wroclaw on air

Mit einem Grand Re:Opening beginnt Radio_Copernicus am ersten Dezember 
die vierte Sendestaffel aus Wroclaw in Kooperation mit der
Universität Wroclaw. Im Dezember überträgt das Künstlerradio sein 
24stündiges Programm live aus Wroclaw zeitgleich in Berlin auf UKW 95,2
und in Wroclaw auf UKW 91,3 sowie per Internet-Livestream. Um aktuelle 
radio- und medienästhetische Strömungen zu dokumentieren, hat
Radio_Copernicus erneut Auftragsproduktionen an namhafte Künstler 
vergeben, u.a. an Thomas Auer, Mikolaj Trzaska und Andrzej Stasiuk, Heimo
Lattner, Filip Zawada, Radosław Łukasiewicz, Jak Piętka (Pustki). Sie 
werden auf dem Sendeplatz „Explorations“ vorgestellt.

Zum Abschluß des Projekts veranstaltet Radio_Copernicus in 
Zusammenarbeit mit der Universität Wrocław und der BWA Galerie 
Wroclaw/Galerie

Sztuki Współczesnej vom 6.12.–11.12.05 eine Veranstaltungsreihe mit 
Workshops, Klanginstallationen, Sound-Performances,
Radio-Interventionen und einem Symposium „Talking Back to Radio – Radio 
als Zuhörer – Artyści zmieniają radio“. In dieser Veranstaltungsreihe 
geht es
darum, einen nahezu verloren gegangenen Dialog zwischen Radio und 
aktueller Kunst wieder aufzunehmen.
Welch überraschend brisante, gesellschaftspolitische Perspektiven dies 
birgt, werden im Symposium (10./11.12.05) Referenten wie Wojciech
Bruszewski, Robert Piotrowicz, Anna Zaradny, Sabine Breitsameter, 
Johannes Wilms und Robert Gawlowski zusammen mit dem Publikum
diskutieren.

Das Abendprogramm in der Städtischen Galerie BWA bietet Installationen 
und Aufführungen u.a. von Stefano Giannotti, Pawel Janicki, Hildegard 
Westerkamp,
Lukasz Szalankiewicz, Johannes Auer, Tomasz Gwincinski, Ignaz Schick und 
ElletroVoce.

Zum Auftakt der Veranstaltungsreihe, am 06.12.2005, 18.00–19.00 Uhr, 
wird die Hamburger Künstlergruppe LIGNA in der Altstadt von Wrocław
ihre Radio-Aktion „Die Zukunft der Radiokunst“ darbieten. „Talking Back 
to Radio – Radio als Zuhörer – Artyści zmieniają radio“ wird zum
Teil live, zum Teil auch zeitversetzt auf Radio_Copernicus gesendet.
