-Ed Osborn (USA)/ "AIR DRIVER"
Ed Osborn zeigt mehrere neue Sound-Installationen in der Ausstellung 
AIR DRIVER in Sparwasser im Oktober. Die kinetische Natur dieser 
Arbeiten vermittelt eine Art lebendiger Pr=E4senz. Die Installationen 
sind in einer spielerischen Art und Weise auf die Fensterfront 
bezogen. Ein Klopfen und Vibirieren auf dem Glas =FCberbr=FCckt mit 
Ger=E4uschen die Grenze der Gallerie und heischt so um die 
Aufmerksamkeit der Strasse. Die Arbeiten zeigen ein sehr k=F6rperliches 
Empfinden f=FCr Raum, Aura und Bewegung, mit einem minimalen Einsatz 
von Materialien.

Ed Osborn hat weltweit die Aufmerksamkeit von Kuratoren geweckt und 
an Ausstellungen in USA, Kanada, Australien und Europa teilgenommen. 
Der Stipendiat des Guggenheim Fellowships arbeitet mit sound-basierte 
Arbeiten gezeigt durch Installation, Skulptur, Radio, Video, 
Performance und Projekte im offentlichen Raum. Osborn ist nach Berlin 
gekommen durch das DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program.=00

-Ed Osborn (USA)/ "AIR DRIVER"
Ed Osborn presents several new sound installations in the show air 
driver at Sparwasser in October. The kinetic nature of these pieces 
provides a kind of living presence within the exhibition space. The 
installations are playfully focused on the gallery-windows: knocking 
and vibrating the glass, bridging with sound the border space of the 
gallery, and producing a sharp call for attention to the street 
outside.  The works demonstrate a visceral sense of space, aurality, 
and motion combined with a precise economy of materials.

The recipient of many awards including a Guggenheim Fellowship, Ed 
Osborn has shown extensively in the United States, Canada, Australia 
and Europe. His sound-based artworks take many forms including 
installation, sculpture, radio, video, performance, and public 
projects.  Ed Osborn has been brought to Berlin through the DAAD 
Artists-in-Berlin Program.
