1st of Java - Perspectives on New Media*
Dear friends,
The finalists of the online competition
**1st of Java - Perspectives on New Media**
are determined:
37 artists had been extracted from 77 nominations (result of pre-selection).
You find the complete list of artists and their works published on
www.javamuseum.org
The online exhibition will be opened on 1 September 2001.
**The 37 finalists formed also the basis for the nominations
for the "JavaArtists of the Year 2001" Award.**
Following 9 artists are nominated:

Simultaneously with the online exhibition
the awarded winners will be presented.
The award is connected with a solo online show
on JavaMuseum server.
